For total beginners, the coach creates a safe environment for the kids to learn badminton while having fun.The focus on getting the technique right is visible in the coaching style.

I have had 1:1 coaching with Huaiwen for approximately three years. Since being coached by her my skills as a player have significantly increased and my national ranking has dramatically improved. I am now in the top 15 for mens singles inthe U19’s age group. Since September I have been an assistant coach to Huaiwen at a junior badminton club in Woking. As a coach Huaiwen is really patient, very technically expert and motivating to all the children who attend the club. It has been great to see the children develop their badminton skills and enjoyment of the sport under Huaiwan’s guidance.

My 11 year old son loves Huaiwen Xu Badminton club . What makes the club so unique and exceptional is his coaches’ motivational approach and rapport with all the children. They all learn at their own pace and are challenged with the view that they can be the best they can be , within their own ability and strength .
